A gift, not a pitch

If you're reading this, one person — Andrew, who builds Lumin alone — probably sent you a year of the app with no strings attached. This page is everything he'd say if the note were longer.

What Lumin is

Most prayer apps give you content. Lumin remembers your walk.

Lumin is an AI companion for the Christian walk. Not a meditation library, not a reading plan, not a chatbot with a Bible skin. You bring it what you're actually carrying — the prayer for your mom, the job you're waiting on, the doubt you can't say out loud at church — and it walks with you over time: it remembers (with your permission), it notices when a prayer gets answered, it brings your own words back to you when they matter again.

Why you're right to be skeptical

Most Christians fear AI misinterpreting Scripture more than anything else about it — and they're right to. So Lumin's commitments are published, in public, with our test grades shown (including the failures):

Lumin never invents Scripture. Every verse it cites is checked against the actual biblical text before you see it. Fake "verses" get corrected, not repeated.

Memory is yours. Lumin remembers only with permission. Everything it keeps is readable, editable, and deletable, any time.

No guilt, ever. No streaks, no "we miss you" hooks, no tricks at the door when you leave.

The full covenant — including what Lumin will never do, like speak for God or stand in for your church — is at lumin.faith/trust. It changes only in the direction of stronger commitments.

What we offer

A year of Lumin, top tier, free. For your actual prayer life, not for a post.
A direct line to the person who builds it. Find something broken or off-key, tell Andrew, and watch it get fixed — usually within days.
Codes for your audience, if you ask. If you ever share Lumin and want your people to try it properly, we'll generate free-months codes for them. No strings on those either.

What we will never ask

No script, no talking points, no approval. If you talk about Lumin, say whatever is true — including what's wrong with it. (Just disclose the gift; that's basic honesty.)
No posting requirement. The gift stands whether you ever mention it or not.
No engagement bait. We'll never ask you to run a giveaway, tag friends, or push a streak. That would violate our own covenant.

Advent 2026: from the first Sunday to Christmas morning, Lumin carries one thing for each person — their answer to "what are you waiting for this year?" — and brings it back to them, in their own words, on Christmas morning. Creators who want to walk the season with their audience get it first. If that's you, just reply to the note.

Who builds this

One person — no company, no team, no growth department. Every note sent to a creator was written by hand after actually reading or listening to their work. If that's not what happened with yours, reply and say so.
